GST Mining Machines has been operating in South Africa for over 25 years and as an OEM supplies many of the top South African mines (incl Glencore, Harmony Gold, West Wits Mining, Samancor Chrome, Sibanye-Stillwater, Implats and Valterra Platinum to name a few) with our Drill Rigs, Loaders and Dumpers.
Operating more than 400 rail and trackless mechanised machines in South Africa alone, GST engineers high‑performance systems built for the most extreme environments. Our Drill Rigs feature Deutz engines, Bosch Rexroth hydraulics and Montabert drifters.
Safety is a core focus at GST. Operators are trained using advanced programs and simulations to ensure proper handling of equipment.

GST recently launched its EV Fully Electric Trackless Double Boom Drill Rig – with up to 4 Hours of emissions free tramming on a single charge. And, as tramming to and from rock faces typically does not take long, our Electric SQTD Drill Rig easily completes a full 8-hour shift on a single charge.
