Aaron began his professional career at the Productivity Commission, where he worked on a range of policy areas, including industry development, labour markets, intellectual property, superannuation, and infrastructure and energy market regulation. He also worked with representatives from APEC countries to develop their economies. Aaron returned home to Perth in 2017 to work in the office of then WA Treasurer, Ben Wyatt. In that role Aaron advised the Treasurer on economic and commercial issues, managing significant projects in the portfolio. He joined CCIWA in 2020 as Chief Economist and Director of Policy and Advocacy and now also oversees Membership, Campaigns and Strategy.
