David is the Member for Cockburn in the Parliament of Western Australia. In March 2025, he was appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Premier; Minister for State Development; Trade and Investment; Economic Diversification. In this role, he oversees the WA Government’s transformation of the Western Trade Coast. Prior to being elected, David was an industrial relations lawyer and director at a boutique law firm. David holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Australia, a Master of Laws from University College London, and a Master of Public Policy from the Australian National University.
