Dr Catherine Nixon is an occupational physician with Sonic HealthPlus, Australia’s leading provider of occupational healthcare and general medical services. Based in Perth, she has worked with a variety of mining companies, including in remote areas to examine workers. Dr Nixon leads Sonic HealthPlus’ WA health surveillance program providing best practice health surveillance programs to companies. Before joining Sonic HealthPlus in 2013, Dr Nixon worked in forensic medicine and as a GP / emergency doctor in regional and remote hospitals across WA and Queensland.
