A qualified Electrical and Instrumentation specialist with over three decades of experience in surface and underground operations, Duane began his career in NSW as an electrical fitter mechanic before moving into instrumentation in the late 1990s. Since joining Newmont in 2008, he has held supervisory and specialist roles and now serves as a Global Instrumentation Advisor focused on standards and governance. His work spans global sites, driving optimisation and standardisation of instrumentation assets. Known for his collaborative style and project expertise, Duane is passionate about helping teams adapt, innovate, and thrive in dynamic operational environments.
