Neil van Drunen, Head of National Policy at the Association of Mining and Exploration Companies, has over a decade across ministerial offices, international development, and industry advocacy. AMEC represents over 600 explorers, emerging miners and service providers, working to drive for the best possible outcomes for members. Neil spent four years in the WA Premier’s office and two with the Minister for Mines and Petroleum as principal policy advisor. He then headed overseas to lead work in international development in Vienna.
