Sam brings over 12 years of operational and engineering leadership experience at Fortescue. Throughout his career, he has built deep capability across reliability, operations, maintenance, shutdowns, mining and engineering, giving him a strong understanding of end to end mining and processing performance. He has also contributed to major operational functions across Fortescue’s supply chain; delivering critical business optimisation at both the Mines and at Port and Rail, as well as playing a key role in the inclusion of Magnetite to Fortescue’s Portfolio. In his current position as General Manager at Fortescue’s Iron Bridge site, Sam is focused on ramping up the operation by unlocking bottlenecks, improving operating time, and strengthening operational discipline.
